Spotted in bookstores!
Hey, I went into my local bookstore on Saturday and found ONE MORE TIME on the shelves! So they're out even earlier than usual!

My in-laws were with us when I went to investigate. My sister-in-law pulled it out and looked at the hunky man cover and said, "I thought you wrote under your own name?" So um, she is somehow three books behind in my writing career. Hmm.

The brother-in-law goes: "Hey! They put your hubby on the cover!" which will join the collection of other in-laws comments like: "So he helps you with his research, eh?" *wink wink nudge nudge*

Of course I ignored him. (My husband puffed up his chest. *sigh*)

My nephew who is certainly not old enough to read my books made gagging noises. We were, after all, in the romance section. And we were here to pick up a book for him, so why were standing around here?

It's a darn good thing I like my in-laws! :) Anyway, I don't think the online bookstores have released ONE MORE TIME yet, but you can certainly check out your local bookstore and see!

Good luck! Although maybe you better make it an "I finished Nanowrimo" award?

I am soooooo tired of giving a polite little smile when friends and family nudge my husband and say, "You helped with the research on the sex scenes, right?"

If I were writing murder mysteries, would they nudge my husband and say, "You helped with the research by being bludgeoned with a candlestick in the library, right?"

I feel your pain.

My response is either to ignore the comment or say with my sharp witchy-face on: "And do you ask mystery writers if they murder people in order to write the book?"

*sigh*

Depends on one's version of "on-line," I guess...

And for what little "misery loves company" consolation it's worth, mytstery and SF authors get that same crap all the time as well... clearly, in the readers' minds, the murder / aliens / mosters are the products of the authors' imagination, but anything sex / relationship based must be autobiographical... :P
