I've finished the synopsis. I took the desperate measure of buying large sticky notes and pasting them to my lounge room wall. Shown here:

Now, I have a program called "Power Structure" that does this "index card" layout. However, it scrolls off to one side and I really needed this view. Hence the stickies. My brainstorming group have already chucked the synopsis back at me (because I forgot to explain how the hero and heroine got separated in the first place, I mean, it was totally obvious to me), and I've revised it and sent it back.
Next I need to edit the three chapters, which I need to pay especial attention to because this thing got rewritten three times before I found the right way.
In other news, a book arrived today called "Radical Underworld: Prophets, Revolutionaries, and Pornographers in London, 1795-1840". If I told you how much it cost, it'd make you weep. It better be a bloody good book.
Finally, in case this turns out to be one of those weeks where I never get to post again, I've got another post coming up at The Spiced Tea Party...Current Mood:  accomplished |
